What is a cultivation program?

A cultivation program sums up a series of functions that are needed to ensure a suitable environment for mushroom growth such as providing the needed amount of humidity, suitable air quality, a light schedule and levels that a type of mushroom requires.

Please bear in mind that your device is only capable of starting a pre-programmed cultivation, which is the Generic cultivation program. You can access multiple different cultivation programs provided by us, and you can even start a manual cultivation with the Shrooly Application

How to start a cultivation program with the Shrooly device?

  1. Power up your Shrooly

  2. Click on "Start", press the 2nd button on the top of your device

  3. Your generic program should start, and the screen should change to a general recipe

How to start a cultivation program within the Shrooly app?

  1. If you haven't already, download and log into your Shrooly Application

  2. Connect to your Shrooly device via Bluetooth

  3. Click on the "Start a cultivation" button

  4. Select the appropriate recipe

  5. Select the "Scan QR code" button at the bottom, then select "Ok"

  6. The app opens your camera where you can see a white square, please navigate your camera to your Pod's QR code in order to scan it. Please note that camera access is needed for the Shrooly app to use this feature.

  7. The app will guide you through the necessary steps, if you're done, click on the "Start Cultivation" button
