Please note that Wi-Fi connection is a beta feature.
Your Shrooly can only connect to 2,4 GHz Wi-Fi networks; it cannot connect to 5 GHz networks.
Why should the Shrooly be connected to Wi-Fi?
Connecting your Shrooly to your Wi-Fi can be useful if you'd like to access your device remotely. Furthermore, connecting your Shrooly to Wi-Fi speeds up firmware updates.
At this stage of development, you can connect only one Shrooly to a smartphone at a time.
How to connect your Shrooly to Wi-Fi?
To remotely access your Shrooly, it must be connected to your Wi-Fi network. You can easily connect your Shrooly to any Wi-Fi network by following these steps:
Step 1 — Download and sign in to the Shrooly app
If you haven't already, download and sign in to the Shrooly app.
Step 2 — Connect to your Shrooly via Bluetooth
Here's a guide that helps you connect to your Shrooly via Bluetooth:
Step 3 — Tap your Shrooly’s name
Tap your Shrooly's name in the top left of your screen.
Step 4 — Tap "About"
Step 5 — Tap on "Wi-Fi (beta)"
Step 6 — Enter your credentials
Enter your Network name and Password and tap "Connect". Your Shrooly will start connecting to your Wi-Fi network.
Please note that the name of your Shrooly will not be visible in the top left of your screen until a Shrooly device is connected.
