A step-by-step guide to cultivate Reishi

Step 1

Remove the sleeve and disinfect the top surface of the Pod with the provided alcoholic wipe.

Step 2

Disinfect the cutting tool and cut open the Pod. For Reishi, we recommend cutting it in a mesh pattern, with around 5 cm cuts on the plastic. The cuts don't have to be deep, and you don't have to cut the substrate, just the packaging plastic. It doesn't matter which side is "up", so you can make the cut in any side you like.

Step 3

Moisten the Pod with 3-4 sprays of water, using the provided water spray, which you can find in your Shrooly's accessory box. Using other types of water sprays is also fine, but please make sure to disinfect the spray bottle and make sure to use clean water.

Step 4

Place your Pod with the cut side up inside your Shrooly and start the cultivation program.
