Pod QR code validation deprecated

We have deprecated the QR code validation feature for starting a new cultivation using the Shrooly app.

We heard your feedback about the need to scan the QR codes on Pods. To provide you with a smoother mushroom-growing experience, we decided to remove the Pod QR code validation feature. This means that when starting a cultivation, you will no longer need to scan the QR codes on the Pods. While the Shrooly Pods currently in stock still have QR codes on them, there’s no need to scan them anymore. Going forward, newer Pods won’t have a QR code sticker.

Our mission is to enable as many people as possible around the globe to grow their own mushrooms at home. With this new approach, you’ll be able to start as many cultivations as you like. Who doesn’t love a good experiment?
